Marrakech Weather and Climate - Best time to visitWe are often asked about the weather and climate at different times of year in Marrakech, and the best time to visit. Here is a brief summary of the weather and climate throughout the year. First, there rainfall is generally very low throughout the year, and although it can rain, it is never very much or for very long. A bigger consideration is the heat. July and August can be very hot with temperatures in the 90s (mid 30s C). The months of July and September are also hot, getting in to the high 80s (early 30s C). The cooler months are December to February when temperatures are at the mid 60s (20C) level during the day, and cool at night, although well above freezing! The other thing to note is Ramadam, which for 2010 is 11 August to 9 September. During this time some cafes will not serve alcohol, although I found that most restaurants did in the evening.
